Dear Friends!
You have supported us wonderfully for over a year now, and yet we haven’t had a chance to celebrate with you the many good days we have shared at East West Crossings during the past year.
Looking forward, we want to celebrate this wonderful greening of spring- and we look forward to another year of building community – one conversation at a time.
Please join us at our Grand Opening Anniversary Party next Saturday, May 17 from noon to six when we’ll once again spend a day with tea passports and stations, food and live music, steeped in good conversation.
To thank you, we will be discounting nearly everything in our shop and will be serving some very special teas and gourmet dainties!
We’ll also introduce our summer menu, hold a book sale and drawings for door prizes.
To mark the occasion, we’ll start the day’s activities at 11 AM with storytelling for children of all ages.
We’ll get more details about the day on our website before then.
Again, on May 17, please join us to celebrate our time with you, and our continuing friendship. As we say every day, “Come warm your spirit, find your center, and enjoy conversation with friends old and new!”
With warm regards,
Joy and Ranadhir Mitra

Sun, Mar 30, 4pm – 6pm: - Bashakov is a musician that is not part of the pop culture, but whose songs-in the style of folk-rock, are widely known. His lyrics are very uplifting, gor example, in his use of the words like “sun” and “light”. Although Mikhail will sing in Russian about different aspects of people’s everyday life, he will explain the context and content of the songs for our audience. Mikhail is part of a dying breed of poet/musicians and we are happy to present this performance. The afternoon will begin with a short recital on guitar and cello by Isaac Mognet and Nikolai Balashov- both members of the band The Hot Teapots.
